Entry Requirements

A completed Year 10 or its equivalent is a prerequisite for students applying for a Certificate III level qualification. Non-school leavers’ eligibility for Certificate III entry qualifications will be assessed based on merit, vocational experience, previous studies, Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) level, and personal competencies.

A completed Year 12 or equivalent is mandatory for students applying for a Certificate IV level and above qualification. Non-school leavers’ eligibility for Certificate IV or higher qualifications will be evaluated based on merit, vocational experience, previous studies, LLN level, and personal competencies.

For students under 18 years of age, a legal guardian must be present in Australia.

Students must fulfil New England College’s English proficiency requirements. For further information, please refer to the New England College English Proficiency Policy and Procedure.
